Greene asks Riley to retain new sheriff

MONTGOMERY | Tuscaloosans who have not decided whether to approve Sunday alcohol sales in the city will have nearly a year to make up their minds.
Gov. Bob Riley signed the Tuscaloosa Sunday alcohol sales referendum bill into law Thursday, and the City Council is likely to shoot for a February vote.
